QReado is an app for Shopify stores. It creates QR codes for products, collections, carts, discounts and any web page, plus Wi-Fi, vCard, WhatsApp and more. You design the codes with your colors, logo and a frame, and print them as label sheets.

Through the Shopify App Store: click “Add app” and confirm the installation. Then open QReado in your Shopify admin under “Apps”. You do not need a login or an account with us.

No. QReado does not change your theme and adds no code to your store, so your store does not get slower.

Yes, for the store codes (product, collection, cart, discount, homepage). They lead to pages of your Online Store. Codes for your own addresses, Wi-Fi, vCard and similar work without it.

The app is available in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese. It follows the language of your Shopify account and can be changed in Settings.

A dynamic code leads through a short QReado link to the destination. You can change the destination at any time after printing, scans are counted, and QReado checks that the destination still exists.

A static code contains the destination address itself. It works without QReado, but cannot be changed after printing, and scans are not counted.

For dynamic codes, yes: customers land on a fallback page instead of an error page. By default this is your store's homepage. With Plus you choose the fallback yourself (a product, a collection or your own address).

QReado checks the destinations daily and shows which codes need a new destination. With Plus this also happens instantly when you delete or hide a product. Renamed products and collections are picked up automatically.

Yes. You pick a discount of your store. Whoever scans the code gets the discount applied automatically at checkout and lands on the page you choose (homepage, product or collection). If the discount only applies to certain products, QReado suggests them and warns you if your destination is not one of them.

No. The camera app of current phones reads QR codes directly. The scan safety check in QReado shows before printing whether the code can be read reliably (contrast, logo size, margin).

That depends on how much data it holds. QReado shows the minimum size next to the preview, usually around 2 × 2 cm. Test a code with several phones before printing.

Yes. You can choose colors, gradients, patterns, corners, frames with your own text and a logo or symbol in the center. The Free plan allows up to 3 own templates, Plus has no limit.

On the Free plan, codes and scans are unlimited, subject to fair use as described in the terms of service.

In the print studio you pick codes, the sheet format (A4 and US Letter, several label sizes) and what the label shows, such as name, price or your own line. QReado turns this into a PDF to print.

PNG and SVG, so also for professional printing. With Plus you download many codes at once as a ZIP, with Premium up to 4096 px.

Yes, with Plus: for all products of the store, a collection, a product type, a tag or a vendor. With Premium, codes for new products and collections are even created automatically.

Yes. Every dynamic code has a scan counter. With Plus you see the trend per day, countries, devices and the most scanned codes. With Premium you can export scans as an Excel or CSV file.

They show in your web analytics which flyer, package or poster brought visitors. With Plus, QReado adds campaign, medium and source to the destination address automatically.

Yes, with Plus. Instead of qreado.com, customers see your store's address when they scan. That builds trust and is blocked less often. Custom link endings like /winter-sale are available from Plus as well.

Billing runs entirely through Shopify on your Shopify invoice. You change or cancel the plan in QReado under “Plan” or in your Shopify settings. We never see your payment details.

Your codes stay and printed codes keep working. Features from Plus and Premium (for example analytics or custom link endings) are no longer available until you switch again.

For every scan of a dynamic code we store the time, country and device type. We do not store IP addresses, we set no cookies and we do not read orders or customer data from your store. More in the privacy policy.

We delete all data of your store as soon as Shopify asks us to, usually after about 48 hours. After that, dynamic codes no longer work.

Dynamic codes need QReado. After uninstalling and deleting the data, they no longer lead to the destination. If you need codes that last without QReado, choose “Static”.
